IPC (instructions per cycle)
Türkçe: IPC (çevrim başına komut)
A measure of how many instructions a processor completes on average in each clock cycle.
// EXPLANATION
Single-core performance is roughly IPC × clock frequency. Architectural improvements (wider decoders, better branch prediction, bigger caches) raise IPC so more work gets done at the same frequency; that is why a new generation can be faster even at the same GHz.
