Disconnector
Türkçe: Ayırıcı
A safety switch that opens a de-energised circuit to create a visible air gap; it has no capability to interrupt current.
// EXPLANATION
A disconnector isolates the section to be maintained with certainty. Because opening it under load would cause a damaging arc, the breaker is always opened first. In versions with an earthing blade, the isolated section is also earthed for safe working.
