Power transformer
Türkçe: Transformatör
A static machine that raises or lowers an AC voltage through electromagnetic induction without changing the frequency.
// EXPLANATION
A transformer has two (or more) windings on a common magnetic core; the voltage ratio equals the turns ratio. Types include power, distribution and customer-owned transformers. Losses split into copper (load) and iron (no-load) losses; in oil-filled types the oil provides cooling and insulation.
